Today is World Pharmacists Day. Dr Oisín Kavanagh, a pharmacist from @UniofNewcastle, took the time to speak with us and wish other pharmacists a happy #WorldPharmacistsDay. He received a David Thompson PhD studentship award to look at whether certain molecules can prevent crystals from forming and damaging the kidneys as a result of high doses of certain antibiotics.
