All criticism and jokes aside, there is a MAJOR issue for David Jolly now that he did not have when he was a Republican or even when he was on @MSNBC: his deep connections to Leo Govoni, Jolly's former patron who is at the center of one the biggest fraud scandals in Tampa Bay history. Jolly handled a significant aspect of the Govoni family's portfolio. Jolly employed Govoni's son; Govoni employed Jolly's wife. To say that Jolly and Govoni were intertwined would be an understatement; I know this firsthand and from other sources close to both men. While I don't know, and don't want to believe, if Jolly had any role in what Govoni may or may not have done with that $100M, Jolly will have to answer for his connection to Govoni again and again on the campaign trail (if he actually makes it to the trail.)
