No ICE. No more forever wars. No Kings.

Millions of Americans showed up today in Denver and across the country to remind Donald Trump of one thing: In America, power belongs to the people. We have no kings here.

To be clear, I'm a HELL NO on a 60-day funding bill for DHS. ICE must be defunded and completely dismantled.

I’m staying in Washington until the House passes the bill to pay our hard-working TSA employees and restore funding for FEMA and the Coast Guard while excluding any money for ICE and Trump’s cruel immigration agenda. ICE must be defunded and dismantled.

It's 2026 and women are still earning less than men for the same work.   Even in women-dominated fields, like education and health care, women earn less than men. This is unacceptable.   I will continue to push for change and create a world where every woman gets what she's owed.

Addiction is a disease. We don't send people to jail for getting diabetes or cancer. We help them. We cannot schedule, prosecute, and punish our way out of the opioid crisis. What we need is more treatment tools.

Republicans are forcing another vote to fully fund ICE later today after blocking numerous Democratic efforts to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. I'm voting NO because ICE needs to be defunded and dismantled immediately – this rogue agency is beyond reforming.

For too long, the women who co-led these movements have been underrecognized for their actions. Denver and Colorado should immediately begin the process of renaming any street, park, building, landmark, or memorial named for César Chávez in favor of the women whose struggles helped define this movement, like Dolores Huerta.

The accusations against César Chávez are shocking and disturbing. Legacy does not guarantee absolution, and I unequivocally condemn these abhorrent actions and stand with the survivors of his abuse. The UFW movement is larger than any one single person, and it will continue to advocate for and support farm workers and immigrants.

The Pentagon is reportedly asking Congress for an additional $200 billion for Trump’s illegal war with Iran. That amount of money could fund the ACA tax credits six times over. I refuse to vote for money for war when health care costs and every day essentials are skyrocketing here at home.

The best solution for our health care crisis is to move to a single-payer system like Medicare for All. In Congress, I am fighting for every American to have access to affordable, quality care when they need it.

Today, Republicans on the Health Subcommittee are holding a hearing on health care affordability. That’s like an arsonist investigating a fire they started. Their Big Bad bill cut over $1 trillion from Medicaid, and they let the ACA tax credits expire that helped more Americans afford the health care they needed. As the top Democrat on this subcommittee, I’m calling out their hypocrisy.

A senior Trump administration official just resigned because, in his words, “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation,” yet Trump started the war anyway. This administration is misleading the American people, and there must be accountability for starting another forever war in the Middle East.

I am demanding answers from Secretary Hegseth about how an American weapon ended up targeting a school that left over 175 dead, most of them children. There must be a swift investigation into this horrific school attack, and those responsible must be held accountable.

I am horrified by the violent antisemitic attack at Temple Israel in Michigan. My heart is with the congregation during this tragedy. Antisemitism and hatred of any kind has no place in this country.
