Awoke to news this morning of the passing of Senator Graham. We are praying for his family during this devastating time. Though we did not always agree, he was always respectful. Just a few weeks ago I ran into him on the Senate side and he said “Well hello Young Lady” and smiled at my young son and shook my hand to say hello. He was always kind and willing to talk. It is important to also note, amid massive speculation surrounding his sudden passing, that though in great spirit, Senator Graham was older and his father did pass of a heart attack as well.

U.S. National Intelligence is operating more efficiently and effectively than ever before, and today, we started a third round of reducing redundant, or non-critical, personnel. DNI’s future is exceptionally bright, and will be focused on following the law and the statute.

If we don’t have Voter I.D. we don’t have a nation.

Adam Jones, Head of Intel at NSC, needs to go @WhiteHouse. He is the guy behind SHUTTING DOWN OFFICE SUPPORTING ELECTION INTEGRITY investigations NOT TO MENTION SLOW walking a lot of DECLASSIFICATION EFFORTS to include BLOCKING the 9/11 document release. Jim Clappers guy needs to go.

John Thune is now planning on drafting his own version of the NDAA, meaning he is ACTIVELY working to try to block the SAVE America Act. This will now have to be done in conference. A Manager’s Amendment from the Chairwoman of the Rules Committee can force this in once the Senate sends us their version.

Through whatever means—nuking the Zombie Filibuster, enforcing the Talking Filibuster, a creative use of budget reconciliation, or otherwise—the Senate MUST pass the SAVE AMERICA Act. We’ve crossed the point of no return. Failure is not an option.

Graham Platner is an absolutely terrible human being. It’s good that he’s going to drop out. However, why has the House Ethics Committee sat on reports about other members of Congress who are currently seeking reelection? Don’t you think the same standard of conduct should apply to both Democrats and Republicans alike?

Consider this a tax return! What an honor to deliver this $1 million check to St. Petersburg College President Dr. Tonjua Williams today for their SMART tech labs that will help train local constituents for high paying jobs. Thanks for all you do for our community Dr. Williams!

Under DHS, FEMA has announced new federal grants to support hurricane relief and protective measures here in Florida. I’m grateful to share that over $1.3 MILLION will directly benefit FL-13: $130,530.29  for Eckerd College $143,192.69 for the Town of Belleair $319,175.52 for the City of Clearwater $765,097.41 for the City of St.e Pete Beach These funds will provide critical support as we continue to rebuild and recover from the devastation left by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

On the 250th birthday of the United States, our President called to pass the SAVE America Act to require proof of citizenship to vote in our elections. This is something over 80% of Americans want. The House has now passed it THREE TIMES and each time we pass it to the Senate they FAIL. The people want it. The House wants it. The President wants it. @leaderthune is claiming it’s a numbers problem. I think it’s evident it’s a leadership problem.
