Environmental justice is about who gets to live freely, breathe easily, and thrive. That is why I launched the People's Environmental Justice Caucus with @RepRashida, @Rep_Grijalva, and movement leaders to fight for policies that center the communities most impacted by pollution and climate harm. It's an honor to continue the legacy of the late Congressmen Raul Grijalva and A. Donald McEachin who fought consistently for environmental justice for all. Clean air, clean water, and safe environments are not privileges—they're human rights.

Two crypto bros are the biggest slumlords in Detroit. The conditions in nearly 700 homes and apartments owned by RealT companies are shocking: smashed windows, flooded basements, no heat. Selling "digital tokens" cannot be a free pass to profit from dangerous living conditions.

The War Powers Resolution orders the removal of all U.S. Armed Forces’ participation in unauthorized hostilities in Lebanon, including involvement in targeting assistance and intelligence sharing for the Israeli airstrikes and ground invasion. We must act now to stop this campaign of ethnic cleansing.

I'm introducing two resolutions standing with the people of Lebanon against the U.S.-backed Israeli invasion. The first resolution calls on the United States to force an end to the Israeli military invasion, reject threats of the illegal occupation of Lebanese territory, investigate and prosecute war crimes, and support the right of return of all displaced Lebanese to their homes.

I celebrate the UN General Assembly adopting this historic resolution recognizing the transatlantic slave trade as the gravest crime against humanity and calling for reparations. It is a disgrace the US was one of only 3 countries to oppose. We must pass H.R.40. Reparations now!

Corporate greed in the pharmaceutical industry is sickening. Medicines in the U.S. cost 278% more than in other countries. The Medicines for the People Act will develop medications in the public sector, so lifesaving prescription drugs are affordable and accessible to everyone.

Nicholas John Acker was a USPS worker in Michigan who died at work. His death was completely preventable. He was trapped in a machine for hours before his body was found. I will continue demanding answers for his parents and fiancé.

As we approach the celebration of Eid, thousands of our families with relatives in Lebanon are struggling right now. This year’s Eid feels different for us. I know many have lost loved ones and watched the Israeli apartheid regime bomb their grandparents’ homes and uproot entire neighborhoods.
