Today’s passage of year-round E15 is a major win for Kansas farmers, ethanol producers, and American energy independence. Expanding access to E15 gives consumers more choices at the pump, helps lower fuel costs, and strengthens rural economies across Kansas and the nation. Proud to support policies that put American agriculture and energy first.

Today, Exploration Place had the official grand opening of their incredible Adventure Playscape. With a focus on fun and growth, this space provides an opportunity for young Kansans to connect with STEM learning in an interactive environment and create excitement for careers that enhance our community. Exploration Place didn’t just build a park, they built a pipeline for our future.

What happens next after FISA's temporary extension? @RepRonEstes shares an update. "How do we make sure that we... secure their privacy but also protect us from foreign terrorists and activities they might cause... here?"

Wichita is officially the home of the Cheyenne II! Yesterday, the @USArmy announced that the MV-75 FLRAA has been officially named the “Cheyenne II.” This name carries deep history, honoring the Cheyenne people and reviving a legacy of innovation that began with the AH-56 Cheyenne in the 1960s. With Bell’s arrival in Wichita, our state again demonstrates its world-class reputation as a leader in aviation and advanced manufacturing. Wichita will play a central role in delivering the most advanced technologies and capabilities to our Army aviators for years to come. 🇺🇸 army.mil/article/291750…

This #TaxDay, I’m proud that our work modernizing the federal tax system is rewarding hard work, protecting our seniors, and keeping Kansas industries strong. Instead of a system that grows the government, our tax code now focuses on common-sense policies that empower individuals and give our local businesses the tools they need to thrive. I made a promise to the 4th District to put the taxpayer ahead of the government, and I am proud to be delivering on that commitment. From providing long-term certainty for our aerospace manufacturers to ensuring families keep more of what they earn, these updates are about more than just a refund—they are about building a more prosperous future for every Kansan. Check out my latest op-ed in The Daily Signal on why these reforms matter for you and your family ⬇️ dailysignal.com/2026/04/15/del…

@NASAArtemis will make history tomorrow, April 1, with their Artemis II. As the co-chair of the House Aerospace Caucus, I wish the crew a safe and successful journey as we countdown the hours and minutes until the launch.   This 10-day mission will send 4 brave astronauts around the Moon to test the Orion spacecraft’s systems for the first time with humans aboard. This is a critical step in our return to deep space and a testament to our incredible aerospace workforce.

This passage is an important step forward in ensuring our nation’s security. By advancing the appropriations amendment, we are fully funding DHS, ICE, and the frontline personnel who work every day to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law. This legislation now returns to the Senate. Our law enforcement officers and border security professionals deserve the resources and support needed to do their jobs effectively every day. I will continue working to ensure they have exactly that.

If you are stuck in a long TSA line this week, look to the Democrats in Washington to thank. Their refusal to prioritize sensible funding is the sole reason for the travel delays.  I am committed to keeping our country safe and our infrastructure running smoothly, which is why I have voted TWICE now to provide the necessary funding for DHS, and will continue to do so.   Enough is enough. We must fund DHS and get Americans moving again.

Yesterday, I joined Americans for Tax Reform to discuss the economic damage and overall cost of foreign Digital Services Taxes on U.S. businesses.  I have always believed American innovation is the powerhouse of the world – which is why I championed the fight against DST’s starting in 2017, when discriminatory digital taxes first threatened American innovation. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Sinclair Davidson for his dedication and research on the real economic damage these taxes inflict on U.S. innovators. Thank you to all that took part in this vital discussion.

I am forever grateful to our brave men and women service members of the United States Military who embody the strength of our nation. The news this morning regarding Iran is nothing more than a consequence of the choices that the Iranian regime has made as a failed nation.

Every year, high school students in the 4th District can submit their artwork for consideration in the Congressional Art Competition! I encourage all high school students in our district to enter and be part of this fun and unique competition.  I’m looking forward to seeing the work that will represent the Sunflower State in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. The deadline to submit artwork is Tuesday, March 31, 2026. You can apply at estes.house.gov/art.

Today is a massive win for common sense, for Kansas, for the hardworking farmers and ranchers who have been the true stewards of our land for generations, the energy producers, and our community partners. For too long, D.C. bureaucrats attempted to weaponize the Endangered Species Act to implement a hostile land grab, ignoring the stable population data and the successful voluntary conservation efforts already in place. By officially stripping these overreaching protections, we are liberating Kansans from an unscientific and burdensome mandate that threatened our local economies and American energy independence. I have fought this battle in Congress since I came into office, and I am proud to see the Trump administration follow through on restoring local control and protecting private property rights. We have proven that we can protect our natural resources without the heavy hand of the federal government crushing the very people who feed and fuel this country.

Throughout the course of the last year, Republicans have united to put America First, leading with results both in the administration and here in Congress. The President is right to be optimistic – we have accomplished a great deal, but there is still more work to be done. Because of the Working Families Tax Cuts we passed in July, Americans and Kansans alike aren’t just hearing about tax cuts; they’re seeing them right on their kitchen table. These savings exemplify the hard work being put forth to provide real money for real families nationwide. Additionally, this year marks the United States’ 250th Birthday – which is a huge celebration across our country to see how far we have come as a nation. It was my honor to be here to listen to President Trump talk about our victories and see how much we can accomplish when we are unified to put Americans First. I will always fight for the best interest of Kansans in Congress.

I’m grateful for the work of the NTSB and the Senate, and realize there is always more that can and should be done to enhance aviation safety. There are 50 recommendations from the NTSB in their final report and many more findings that warrant legislative consideration, which should be similarly prioritized and considered as quickly as possible.  This collision involved an Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines flight that originated from my hometown of Wichita. This tragedy has left our community shocked, and I am heartbroken that several Kansans were among the victims. No family should ever have to endure such heartbreak. It is imperative we in Congress work to ensure tragedies like this never happen again, and that our skies are the safest in the world. The ROTOR Act is a step in the right direction. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the House and Senate to continue this important work to identify and implement ways to ensure that flying in the United States remains the safest of anywhere in the world.

Last month, I had the opportunity to tour the Mars plant in Topeka, where I got a behind-the-scenes look at the candy-making process.  The dedication of these employees and the investment Mars continues to make in Kansas reflects how essential it is to our local economy and workforce. Thank you for having me!
