What first took me to the Gold Dome was testifying for foster kids. When I finished, a state senator told me he’d been down there for 17 years and had never once heard the words “foster care.” That hit me hard. Because it proved what many of us already know — if you don’t have money, power, or a lobbyist, your voice doesn’t get heard. That’s when I made a commitment: I would fight for the people who don’t have access, who don’t have a checkbook big enough to buy influence. I’m running for governor to take that fight statewide and for all of you.

If you live in GA-14 and didn’t vote early, make sure you go vote for @Clay4MainStreet in today’s runoff! Clay’s a conservative veteran who believes in enforcing the law. His opponent will rubber stamp whatever the extreme left wants. It’s a clear choice, but Clay needs all Republicans to show up and vote. Polls are open until 7 pm!

I’m a lawman and soldier who took the Insurance Commissioner’s job for one reason: To get things done. @RickJacksonGA as governor is our best shot at continuing to get things done, and for Georgia Republicans, he’s our best shot at winning in November. Having once patrolled Techwood Homes as a young beat cop, I know where Rick grew up. I also know his heart. Rick’s a doer, not a talker. He grew up facing one hardship after another, ran away from home, and couldn’t afford to go to college. But Rick pulled himself up, found incredible success, and lived his American Dream. Like my own story, Rick’s is only possible in this country. He’s the genuine article. I’m endorsing Rick Jackson for Governor because he’ll focus on getting stuff done and he’ll always put others first. That’s exactly what we need from our next governor. I’ll be out there campaigning for him, and I hope Georgians will join me to make sure he wins the Republican primary in May and the general election in November.

He is risen! Growing up without a father and with an alcoholic mother, I was often home alone. I found comfort in going to church and still remember riding the bus there on Sundays.
