@paradox_ian I have fond memories of Ranger 3, but I think most ranger fans prefer ranger 2. I also like the gen 4 games (including HGSS) but I find I don't commit to them often.

@macxidy I'm not a huge fan of avoidance, but I do understand that people aren't always able to exert themselves and need their own time It would be nice to get a "can't do this today", but you know, I get it. Communication is hard I flub it up all the time, can't judge others for that

I think about the latter especially when it comes to a more serious relationship. Inaction can be worse than action, avoidance can be worse than confrontation! Once again, I seem only able to operate within the extremes but I can’t find that healthy middle ground.

The self-improvement feels like a never-ending ambition, and the older I get, the more I worry about not being able to self-improve myself “enough”. I’ve worked really hard to get where I am now but I’m still so… problematic? Like. Innately. I’m not sure how to fix that.

@macxidy Well, you can be clingy with me if you want, I wouldn't mind. I'm probably more clingy by default than you could ever be I'm not particularly bothered by people being excessive. Or at least, I don't think I am. But I know I always enjoy your company, whatever you may be doing

I always tell my therapists I feel like I’m stuck between two extremes. Too avoidant or too clingy. Too loud or too quiet. Too expressive or not expressive enough. Too positive or too negative. That middle ground evades me LOL, it’s gotta be somewhere, and one day I’ll find it.

@macxidy I think I'm doing pretty good now, though I've been sort of getting in my own way by only working 30 hours per week instead of 40. I don't know if I'd be able to handle a full time schedule

@macxidy One thing about living in an expensive city like seattle is that the minimum wage is higher. We're nearing 20 dollars for seattle, and 16.30 dollars for WA. When I started, I was earning about $18.50 per hour, and due to longevity it's been raised to $23.

The most I’ve ever made at a job is $14 an hour, both government jobs and retail jobs, and that’s including the last job I had between 2023-2024. I always tend to think that’s average, and every time I’m reminded people make way more, I’m like:

@scribzag24 Considering how much research Grovyle does in pmd here is an alternate take: Grovyle can't read English (the text the panels are in), only footprint runes. He can read unown text to an extent, which might be English, but he doesn't have the time for that in true lab

@Luencarn Fair enough on the script writing part But with how many EoS hacks there are where the text is explicitly edited, I figured dialog alteration with Sky Temple would be the first thing people would try, followed by sprite swaps. So it made me wonder if you knew about Sky Temple

@RiverBuizel Dunno how to, plus I’m not going to go through the work of writing a whole new script for the characters that follows along the game’s plot. I also have no idea how I’d change the whole “wait what?! They’re human?!” Scenes to fit the vibes.

@scribzag24 If somebody can make the sprite work animations for frisk to be used as a player, I could likely mod them into the game, I can’t change any dialogue but I can sure as hell give some stats and moves for them and make it a working rom
