Six years ago on this day, Rik was riding his bike towards the care home when he crossed paths with Ayoub Y. The Sudanese migrant was wandering around when, he later told police, “a mean spirit commanded him to kill”, prompting him to drag Rik from his bike and stab the young man to death. Rik’s father told Ayoub in court: “You were given everything. A house, welfare, help. 🔴 CONNECTICUT: Ecuadorian National and Child Rapist, Segundo Reinaldo Guaranda Gamboy, Found Dead In His Cell. Guaranda Gamboy was a 33-year-old living in New Haven, Connecticut (DOB March 19, 1993) originally from Ecuador, where he had a wife and three children. He immigrated to the U.S. roughly two years before his death in April 2026, initially for work (including a job cleaning rooms at a university in New Haven), and had a brother named Wilson living in Waterbury, CT. Did ICE have a detainer on him @SecMullinDHS @EROBoston? Was he in the United States illegally? According to police, officers responded to the pediatric area of Yale-New Haven Hospital on August 13, 2025, for a report of a sexual assault involving a juvenile. The victim (described only as a juvenile/minor/underage girl or child) knew the suspect—they lived in the same multi-unit house—and reported the assault to a relative. Guaranda Gamboy confessed to having sex with her, leading to the immediate arrest warrant. A DOC Guard at New Haven Correctional Center found him in his cell with a sheet wrapped around his neck. At least that poor girl won't have to testify at his trial. Why do Connecticut Democrats keep importing (and then protecting) child rapists and murderers into the state @GovNedLamont?
