RIJF mourns the passing of the legendary jazz drummer, the great Al Foster. Al was the driving force behind countless bands, including Miles Davis and Sonny Rollins among hundreds of others. RIJF co-producer and artistic director, John Nugent, had the distinct honor of touring and performing with Mr. Foster at more than 100 concerts in the 1990s all over Europe.
