All-time record March heat, exceptionally low humidity, & breezy winds will continue to drive critical fire weather conditions on Sat. Hot temps & single-digit RH will spread across much of the forecast area & can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Avoid creating sparks! #COwx

#CAICCMountains CON(3of5) Dangerous conditions exist and will worsen throughout the day. Start and end your day early and avoid large, steep north-facing slopes where you can still trigger a dangerous dry slab avalanche. colorado.gov/avalanche

This summer-like heatwave will lead to critical fire conditions expanding across much of the forecast area on Sat. The recent update to Sat's Fire Weather Watch now includes the foothills and mountain valleys. Avoid any activity that may produce a spark & start a fire! #cowx

#CAICSMountains CON(3of5) Avalanche conditions remain dangerous. You can trigger a large avalanche where you find a shallow spot on a slope. Safer travel options can be found on slopes less than about 30 degrees without overhead hazard. colorado.gov/avalanche
