In today’s meeting with the ITC team which was led by the Chairman of the Board Dr. Abdul Hafiz Walusimbi and the Chief Executive Officer Saul Sseremba, I urged the Insurance Training College (ITC) to continue delivering highly competent human capital for the Insurance Sector. By June 2026,the College had trained over 10,000 insurance professionals compared to 4000 in 2021. I thanked the Board and Management of the College for strengthening corporate governance. ITC was founded in 1964 to serve as the educational division of Uganda's Insurance Industry.

On Saturday, 18th July 2026, Bishop McAllister College students toured the Department of Visual Arts, Design and Technology at Bishop Stuart University to enhance their fine art skills. The visit exposed students to various facilities within the department, including the photography studio, the pottery wheel room, the art gallery, and the fashion and design section. They also toured other key facilities across the university to gain a broader understanding of the learning environment at BSU.

As part of our quarterly engagements with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (@IraUganda ), our Executive Committee held a meeting yesterday at Serena Hotel, Kampala, with a delegation from IRA led by the Acting CEO, Dr. @sandeprotazio . The engagement focused on key industry priorities, including marine insurance, motor third-party insurance, taxation, and regulatory reforms aimed at strengthening Uganda’s insurance industry. #InsuranceInUganda
