Getting this beta ready has been a herculean effort. I’ve been thoroughly impressed by the engineering team that remains at Velocity/Drift. Despite heavy turnover, the remaining team are absolute chads. While I’ve been working to make the protocol more secure, they’ve been in the trenches rebuilding the infrastructure, patching bugs, and just generally kicking ass.
If you’re on the beta, please beat the crap out of it with a wrench. Find all of the bugs (both old and new). You will not hurt our feelings. I truly treasure every bit of feedback we can get. Have fun!

First version of Fable was excellent. 2nd version is trash, and I never got it to do anything useful, always reverted to Opus, but it uses up your tokens like there's no tomorrow.

I always tell people to start with something they are good at, because that's how you can check on the work the AI is outputting. Ideally, you'd want Product experience if you want to build software, but the trick is that you can literally ask AI to cover any knowledge gaps you're worried about.

The experience you get when you mess something up is invaluable. You learn how to talk to AI in your own style by learning from your own mistakes. You'll find your own gaps, and it will restructure in your mind what the best way to achieve something will be through your own experience.
