IMHO, The eNaira 1.0 made the case for a tokenized eNaira - a central bank stablecoin on chain - that should be made available in every fintech app (as cash), exchange (liquidity) and be used for naira private stablecoin reserves (i.e. reserves for cNGN and others). Central banks should issue their own apps. Let the currency flow through where customers and businesses are: private entities. This is what the Digital Euro is designed to be and why the US is banning on direct CBDC (which is what eNaira 1.0 was)

You are just as culpable as the news producer for spreading misinformation. You misrepresented the fact of the study to a small audience on Twitter. They did to a larger audience even though they should have factchecked but you are the one on your high horse. Pot calling the kettle black. You could question the methodology of the study without making your lead statement a clickbait “59% of Nigerians do not own USDT”.

Hi @Harri_obi @avogroovy we can rightly disagree on this topic & choose not to see each others POV But the least we can agree on is that allowing such incorrect narratives fester & become mainstream news are bad for the space Congratulations to BVNK on their exit and narratives

@Iampreshtush “Stop it. There is NO Urhobo festival where men are allowed to rape women. So where is this lie coming from?”

The Rape tradition isn't just in Ozoro alone it's very prominent in all of Delta Central and Isoko North. As a child, I hated going to my village because of the horrors of children screaming behind my grandfather’s window while they were being raped by grown up men in the name of Ekene festival. This is the reality of an average Urhobo/Isoko girl child.

Hawkish Fed → risk-off. Crypto market cap fell 3.63% to $2.44T. $151M in long liquidations in 24h. Is this macro-driven fear… or leverage getting rinsed again?
