Yesterday, Roger Williams University held a Law and Justice Day at the State House to showcase programs at @myrwu, @RWULaw, and @rwuext. Speaker @JoeShekarchi spoke to the students, staff, and alumni in attendance and noted the tremendous impact RWU Law has on the state's legal and judicial communities as Rhode Island's only law school. @junespeakman, who is also a professor of political science at RWU, also provided comments at the event and later introduced a resolution during the House session to recognize RWU's academic and economic contributions to the state: webserver.rilegislature.gov/BillText/BillT… The event can be viewed online: capitoltvri.cablecast.tv/show/11960
