A 51-year-old man from Angola has been accused of raping a 16-year-old Scottish girl in a Glasgow park.
His defence? He "pleads not guilty" and is running a special defence of consent.
Let that sink in.
A grown man more than three times her age allegedly attacks a teenager in Victoria Park and his lawyers are already preparing to argue she consented?
This is the kind of case that makes you furious. Where is the outrage? Where are the questions about how this happened in the first place?
The victim was just 16. A child.
And he is now forcing her to go to Trial next year.
