@BQuillmanQcast If we could adjust the schedule so the teams didn't have two weeks off, that would be something. I wouldn't be upset with a 2-1-1-1-1 schedule. Give teams a week to prepare for most opponents. I'd also like to see the d2 and d3 committees have more say in final logistics.

1. Administratively a really tough thing to run for NCAA.
2. It really messes with the timing of the D3 tournament.

Currently those D1 games are scheduled for Thursday and Saturday, the same day as ours, literally two blocks away. That might not be the best planning. Hopefully there's still a chance to move them to Fri-Sun? Doubt it, but we can hope. #d3hoops

@BQuillmanQcast Next year is interesting then for your perspective. First weekend at Penguins arena for D1 men and right around the block is Duquesne arena for D3 final weekend. Will D3 feel overshadowed or will it be a basketball festival?

@PoppersMacsLive As they also proved, to do it without size, you've got to be great with help defense and incredibly disciplined on the boards and boxing out. The RMC title was also a relatively small squad. Maybe you just have to be from Virginia?

Mary Washington won the national championship with no one over 6’5” receiving significant minutes, and an average starting lineup height of 6’2”.

Honestly makes no sense that the D2 championship is, but D3 is not.
