Konsta Helenius has recorded a goal in two consecutive games and a goal in tonight’s game would make him the youngest skater in franchise history to record a goal streak of three or more games in the playoffs. A goal would make Helenius the first Sabres forward to record a three-game goal streak in the playoffs since Jason Pominville from April 18 to 25, 2007 (three games; 3+0).

Tonight's win marks the second time Buffalo has earned five wins in their first six road contests in a single playoff year. The Sabres also did so from April 22 to May 23, 1998. It is the third multi-goal comeback win when facing elimination in franchise history, following Game 6 of the 1983 Division Finals and Game 4 of the 1980 Semifinals.

Dahlin joins Derek Roy on May 5, 2006 at Ottawa (2+3) and John Tucker on April 10, 1988 vs. Boston (2+3) as the only Sabres skaters to record five points in a playoff game all-time.

With his five-point effort tonight, Rasmus Dahlin (1+4) has become the ninth defenseman in NHL history to record five or more points in a single playoff game.

Tonight marks the fourth time the Sabres have recorded eight or more goals in a playoff game in franchise history. Buffalo also did so on April 24, 2006 vs. Philadelphia (8), April 21, 2001 vs. Philadelphia (8) and April 29, 1992 vs. Boston (9).

Tage Thompson (0+3) is the first Sabres forward to record three or more assists in a single playoff contest since Daniel Briere on May 6, 2007 at NY Rangers (0+3).

He is the first Sabres skater to register four or more points in a playoff game since Derek Roy on May 5, 2006 at Ottawa (2+3).

With four points (1+3) tonight, Rasmus Dahlin has joined Lindy Ruff (April 16, 1985 at Quebec; 1+3) as the only defensemen in franchise history to record four points in a single playoff game.

With his second goal of the game, Jack Quinn joined Tage Thompson (April 19 vs. Boston) as the only Sabres skaters to record a multi-goal game in the 2026 playoffs.

Konsta Helenius goal makes him (20 years, 5 days) the youngest Sabres skater to record a goal in back-to-back playoff games since Pierre Turgeon from April 5 to 6, 1989 (two games; 19 years, 221 days).

Tage Thompson's assist on Quinn's goal marks his fifth multi-point performance of the playoffs, tied for the most among all NHL skaters (Jack Eichel, Mitch Marner).

Jack Quinn's goal is the first playoff goal of his career. He has a point in two straight games (1+1). He is the fourth Sabres skater whose first career playoff goal gave Buffalo a lead this season (Rasmus Dahlin, Konsta Helenius, Mattias Samuelsson).

Tage Thompson (0+1 tonight) has tallied 12 points (4+8) in 12 playoff games thus far, including five points (2+3) in his last four games. He is the first Sabres skater to record at least one point per game through the first 12 playoff games of their career since Tim Connolly from (April 22, 2006 to April 18, 2007; 5+8).

With two points tonight (1+1), Zach Benson has registered eight points (4+4) in his last seven games. He is now the first Sabres skater age 21 or younger to register five or more goals in a single playoff year since Danny Gare in 1976 (5; 21 years old).

His goal (0:32) is the second-fastest goal from the start of a playoff game by a Buffalo skater all-time, trailing only Derek Roy's goal nine seconds into the game on May 16, 2007 at Ottawa.
