Magna Carta show @SalisburyCath is wonderful. It reminds us how far we have come and how important a good law is . The light was fading , the dog was welcome, the time stood still for a few minutes of contemplation .

@Hiba96819339 @ImamMonawar @Justinwelby Hi Hiba, this photo was taken in the grounds of the Cathedral school, so you are not able to visit. However the rest of the Cathedral Close is very spacious and open to all to visit year-round 🙂

I had the most wonderful evening in conversation with Revd Dr Richard Sudworth, Interfaith Advisor to the Archbishop of Canterbury @JustinWelby at @SalisburyCath We spoke about what our faiths mean to us exploring favourite scriptural passages, spiritual practices, similarities and differences, how our faiths inspire us to public service for the common good, acknowledging so much good that faith communities do for our society. Thank you to the Dean of Salisbury Cathedral @nickcpapadop and the Mayor of Salisbury @atiqulhoque76 for thinking of such a marvelous idea and the wonderful hospitality. We especially appreciated conversations with guests and the encouraging feedback from them.

How many people does it take to put up a 32 feet Christmas tree? 🎄 From stonemasons to carpenters to volunteers, it takes a whole village to raise a tree of this size for all to enjoy.

Innovative, delicate and inspiring. The unusual methods involved in its construction attracted significant interest. We're at @SalisburyCath today for #DivineLight and the Moses Window (1781), a three-light window by James Pearson depicting ‘Moses and the Brazen Serpent’.
