Congrats to everyone who won prizes in Banana Best Ball III, our onchain fantasy football best ball contest. Prizes from the finals have been given out and added to the cards. Thanks to everyone who drafted with us, we couldn’t do this without you. Really awesome to see web3 and web2 people winning massive prizes and enjoying our product. We 3xd what we did last year for our contest, excited for what we cook up next year. We believe that fantasy football was meant to be played onchain with team positions and added gamification. Congrats to @VViIIis for winning the contest and getting 8.139 ETH and to @JohnLemonNFT for winning the HOF getting 1.339 ETH. Banana fam for life!

The problem with blockchain gaming was never the blockchain. It was the games. Nobody wants to grind a generic shooter just because it's "onchain." But fantasy football? 60 million people already play it. Take something people already love in web2 and make it better with web3 - without the friction. No seed phrases. No wallet popups. Sign in with email. Pay with a card. Draft your team. Win money. Users don't even know it's onchain. But under the hood - transparent prize pools, verifiable results, teams you own and can trade. All the benefits, none of the bullshit. Stop building "blockchain games." Start building better games - powered by blockchain. The only onchain fantasy drafting platform. @SBSFantasy

Also, gaming on a blockchain is not coming back

@BorisVagner Imagine playing a game that millions already love but making it better with the blockchain and many other added features and gamifications. Imagine onboarding web2 users. Couldn’t be us.

FAQ degrees and credit scores defining you. Dropped out after 2 years. Parents wanted a doctor or lawyer. I had other plans. No experience. Learned social media from scratch. Helped my brother get a Grammy, tour the world, and grow his following. That landed me at Yuga as socials lead for 4 years. Bought my first home. Started the first onchain fantasy football drafting platform while still there. Millions in prizes given out. Last year's contest 3x'd the year before. SBS is now my full focus. Been heads down for months learning and building with Claude Code - zero dev experience. Can't wait to show people what's coming. The goal? Build SBS into the biggest fantasy sports platform in the world. None of it followed the script. All of it was possible. Find something broken that you care about. Build. Believe. Make mistakes. Keep going. The tools exist. The opportunity is real. The only thing standing between you and it is you. This is the best time to be alive. Go build.

The credit system demands you have perfect credit while being trillions in debt. The education system charges 300k for a degree when the information is free online. The financial system says you need funding to compete… and yet open source devs are getting acquired left and right. Why? Because AI doesn’t care about your degree. Crypto doesn’t care about your credit score. Open source doesn’t care about your funding. They only care about what you can build, and the people who can build with AI are running laps around every institution that told them they couldn’t. All you need now? A GitHub and a vision. Everything else is noise.

a decade ago i designed a game that was basically poker but instead of cards, you had nfl players and the value of your hand is how they'd perform that week you wouldn't know if you won or lost the hand until after that week's nfl games the recent news makes me think it's time has come

As big companies are moving away from draft games because it doesn’t make as much profit my company @SBSFantasy is tripling down on it for this coming year. Adding major new features and improving our product with the help of AI. Can’t wait for people to try it. Draft Games are still the most fun game in fantasy, this niche will grow. Everyone loves to draft, and best ball allows busy people not to have to manage their leagues while still drafting a lot. What makes SBS different and better from standard best ball: - buying selling teams throughout the season, you always have options, - jackpot teams give added gamification where you can skip straight to the finals - team position drafting instead of players where injuries don’t crush your chances. Our contest has grown year after year, last year it 3xd what it did the year before. Since 2021 we’ve given millions in prizes out. We’re going to be the home of fantasy sports.

2) it’s hard not to feel pessimistic about dfs / draft games and the industry but the truth is, it’s a niche product that’s not nearly as profitable as other opportunities

The best setup for OpenClaw is Opus for the brain and Codex for all the coding. Use the subscriptions, not API. Saves a ton of money and is just faster/better. We run ours on a VPS - you don't need Mac Minis. All depends on what you're building. We're thinking about eventually getting Mac Minis since we do a lot of coding and feature work, but you really don't need one to start. We run everything through a private Discord server and I'd highly recommend doing the same. It keeps all your agent communication, task updates, and channels organized in one place. Way better than trying to manage it through terminal or Telegram. Took my brother and I about 2 weeks to set things up and iterate for it to work well. We have multiple agents now handling different tasks and communicating with each other. If someone tells you it's a quick thing, they're lying. It's been a game changer for our company. Saved us a ton of money without having to use our devs for everything, and sped up the process of improving and upgrading our product for next season. There's a lot of chatter saying AI agents are overhyped or BS. I get the skepticism - but once you actually set one up and put the work in, it's a completely different story. I'd genuinely recommend anyone look into OpenClaw whether you're building a business, a side project, or just want help organizing your life. It's not just for devs. It's already changing the landscape of jobs. Nothing will ever be the same again and I'm excited for this change. You'd rather embrace it, learn about it, and see how it can improve your life. Can't wait to share all the things we're working on for my onchain fantasy football company and our contest.

Friday was my last day at Yuga Labs. 4 years. Employee #12. I wore every hat you can imagine - social lead, marketing, products, activations, management, you name it. Got to help build something truly special from the early days. But the best part? The people. I gained a whole new family through this community. The connections and relationships I’ve made mean more than anything else. Grateful for every bit of it. Now? I’ve never been more fired up. Going all in on building @SBSFantasy into the biggest onchain fantasy football platform in the world. Next chapter starts now.

Look. For me, clawdbot is a toy. But if you are trying to find your "career", then you should pay attention to what is happening. In less than 2 weeks Openclaw has had people scrambling to build things for it and/or build an audience around their expertise on it. This has happened at lightspeed. There will be MANY more of these types of opportunities. Start learning now so you can take advantage of them.

It's hard to price the value creation explosion that will result from OpenClaw being open source. It's the best tech experience I've had in over decade of using internet. It sounds like hyperbole, but it is insane to use a piece of software that tangibly gets better as you use it. I think this experience will scale to literally billions of users. The fact that it's open source though means that there won't be one company that necessarily dominates this. I think this is just how all new software will be made. Self-improving Clawbot inspired agents. So at the earliest stages right now I believe the next billion dollar applications are being started and built right now.

you can win all the money in the world, and feel on top of the world... but it will NEVER top the feeling when I get to kiss my kids and tell them I love them more than anything before they go to bed.
