Today is the 115th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, which killed 146 workers & inspired a nationwide movement for workplace organizing. We gathered in NYC to pay respects & spoke with @JulieSuLabor about the ongoing fight for better protections in all jobs.✊

BREAKING: Starbucks is closing stores (non-union & union) in Seattle. They told the public they would look to transfer impacted baristas to other stores. Instead, they’re doing the exact opposite. 👎 Now, workers across Seattle are walking out on ULP strike in solidarity!✊

Starbucks baristas are standing strong and refusing to be intimidated as they fight for the union contract they deserve. The Labor Movement will stand with these workers for as long as it takes. @SBWorkersUnited

We'll continue to fight back. For union stores, we're filing ULP charges and bargaining with Starbucks regarding these closures. Starbucks should offer transfers to ALL workers who want to stay with the company, & severance to those who don’t, as has been past practice.
