Making balance changes just one week later is a good sign. But, I’d really like to see comments explaining why each change was made why something was buffed or nerfed, and what the intended goal is. Right now, it’s hard to understand the developers’ vision behind these changes.

Imagine all the time spent hotfixing things because we changed to 8 workers was spent making changes that were better thought out & actually revamped / refreshed the game. Saddest part of all this is missed opportunity imo.

Pushing this patch live in this state is disrespectful to everybody still involved in SC2. There was basically no point in the PTR - no feedback has been taken and the PTR games clearly showed the game is not in an okay state. Revert it, test it properly & make the game better

The fact that Blizzard pushed this patch without considering that major events like the France tournaments and China tournaments are just around the corner shows how little attention they’re paying to StarCraft II.

The goal was supposedly to help new and returning StarCraft II players. But instead, it feels like this patch risks driving away not only existing players, but also the very new and returning players it was meant to help.

Applying this patch right now would be completely crazy. We still have major events coming up, such as Maestros of the Game, and there are still many things that need to be tested and evaluated with this patch. I don’t think it’s ready to be implemented yet.

In the tournament we organized together with GSL, we played on PTR #2. To be honest, the balance looks very concerning, and the game doesn't seem very fun in its current state. Please take a look when you have a chance: vod.sooplive.com/player/1992299…

Thanks everyone for helping me create such an amazing tournament, have never gotten this much love for a project before ❤️ Peaked at over 3500 viewers, got 1000 new subs and everyone seems excited for more... maybe I shouldn't wait til next year for season 3 🤐 Super happy I could pay out the players this much money too to do my part in keeping the competitive scene alive, see you all for the next one ❤️

this kind of change could push even more new players away from the game. In Korea especially, many amateur players are feeling pressured because they now have to relearn the game from the beginning, while also not knowing where they can even go to improve and study the new meta.

Reducing the starting worker count right now will likely make things even harder for amateur players who are trying to learn StarCraft II. With the current state of SC2 already struggling and there being very few places for beginners to learn properly

Thanks to the fans who always come to cheer for me and those who support me from afar, I was able to stand on the offline stage again after a long time. Although I finished as the runner-up, I’ll keep working hard to show even better performances in the future!
