@Nobleshield I feel like Skyrim did this well. Sure there was a dragonborn storyline, but each individual main quest was completely separated and had their own start, middle and end.

Why do none of these open world games let you make your own character and just be a traveler/adventurer/mercenary out to make a name for themselves? Why do you always have to play as So-and-so who wants to Complete-Main-Storyline?

@HonestGmReviews There's 1 gameplay decision in it that makes me really frustrated with the game. But everything else is very very good. But it ruins a perfectly solid experience for me sadly

@scoriox I'm just starting it now. I played the Left Behind add-on and I went on vacation so I'm a bit delayed.

🚨Spoiler ALERT - THIS WILL RUIN THE TLOU ENDING FOR YOU!!! 🚨 I think TLOU's ending is supposed to make you doubt Joel because he essentially kills mankind's chance at a cure, but I think the Fireflies are fully to blame for what happens (last chance to stop reading 😬). Why? Because the entire confrontation between Joel and the Fireflies could've easily been avoided had the latter waited for Ellie's consent to perform the surgery. I get Joel's reaction. He went berserk at the thought of losing his daughter all over again, and unlike the first time, he had the power to do something about it. But if Ellie had been awake to tell Joel in that moment this is what she wanted, I think he ultimately would've respected her wish given the stakes. He also would've been able to say goodbye, which is not something he got to do with Sarah. There wasn't really a rush to put her under the knife either. She recovered just fine after Joel rescued her, so she wasn't in critical condition. It's not like the cure was going to happen over night. Another week of infection doesn't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. Plus, the guy performing the surgery was actually a doctor, so he should actually know better. Who do you think was right in that situation? Are you on team Joel? Or team Firefly?

@HonestGmReviews It was definitely written in this specific way to give Joel the ultimate choice. Which was an incredible way to end the story. Not sure if you've played 2 yet, but Ellie gets plenty of her own choices which are fun to watch.

I'm really excited for my Dev vlog tomorrow. My next steps for the game are primarily the tileset and character animations. As we add animations, some new characters and assets and more, maybe also some card UI and general UI improvement, it's gonna be a fun session!

Last night I finally pushed a major update for my web app (link in bio). Let me take you on a tour. (And I might reveal how to test the early game prototype) In the second image you can see the Origins TCG part of the website, this has deep filters for card type, archetype, cost, power and health. It's far from perfect but now that all the cards, associated cards and legendary effects are in, its a matter of tweaking. You can also click the deck builder to start crafting your own decks. There's no export yet and saving barely works, but I have almost figured out auth and sign-in, from there you will be able to share your decks with others publicly! Now on the Illuvium side, we have 2 new major sections. In image 3 you can see the assets page, and in image 4 you can see the burner. Assets: Now at the bottom of this page you can enter any EVM Wallet (metamask, rabby) and it will display the illuvitars in the wallet. You can then hit the select button and select 100+ Illuvitars at once and transfer them to your passport or wherever else. Always do small tests before attempting anything larger. I also do not have any safeguards in place yet for double checking details, so please conduct yourself at your own risk. Burner: Lastly, the burner page allows you to rack up points for the Illuvium Beyond burning system, with a UX I crafted up brilliantly might I add. So when you click onto the illuvitar view, you can see all of your different Illuvitars and the quantity of overflow present in a given passport wallet, the best part is the burning system itself. When you click into one of these illuvitars, you can then adjust a toggle to keep the top X of a given expression, and toggle whether holos are treated separately or not. This allows you to easily select every duplicate under a certain quantity and delete your dust in favour of protecting your album, by maintaining only the highest power Illuvitars. There's obviously more to add, but I figured this was the bare minimum for a helpful product in this regard. Again please verify things with small tests before going deeper. You can also sort by power, total overflow or whatever else to help you find higher priority gold mines within your collection. Illuvium Tactics is also on the site but I want to hear personal feedback from every single person who tries it, so if you want access, shoot me a dm on Discord.
