Again, Jesus, your kindness leads me to repent. Just because I don’t throw fits or things doesn’t mean I’m not judgmental. Coolly detached, heart-assassin with a silencer, and a photographic “how-you-hurt-me-memory" are all synonyms for clanging cymbal (1 Cor.13:1). Gentle me.

Jesus, you wrote this on our hearts, show it through our lives: “Be kind and tenderhearted to each another—forgiving each other as God has forgiven you in Christ.” (Eph.4:32)

Jesus, quiet our hearts and gentle us. · May we walk in the Spirit today—not wallow in self-pity and shame. · May we run to the throne of grace—not sit in the seat of scoffers (Ps.1:1). · May we rush to you faster than we rush to judgment and fear.

I remembered this quote during Rose Marie’s memorial celebration yesterday: “Let’s not pamper ourselves into mediocrity when we can forget ourselves into immortality.” Dr. Sam Shoemaker. TGF = True Gospel Freedom.

Hallelujah! Abba never has to say, “Lord willing.” Everything he plans comes to pass. He does whatever pleases him (Ps.115:3), and it pleases Abba to give us to Jesus, save us 100% by Jesus, and make all things new through Jesus. We can't be more saved, his, secure, and loved!

Jesus, among other things—a fresh work of your Holy Spirit will … · Enthrall our hearts with you all over again, restoring our first love · Give us a peace-fueling, hope-renewing vision of your occupied throne · Free us to love as you love us all the way Home. Grant it, Lord

Jesus, either you are the Savior of the world or we are hopeless on the earth. By past grace you completely saved us. By present grace you are changing us and ruling the cosmos. By future grace you will usher in the new heaven and new earth. We reset our hearts and hope on you.

Jesus to us: “Abide in my love” (Jn.15:9). What a fabulous command and address... “777 Jesus’ Steadfast Love”—The grace-haven where we fellowship with Jesus, fall down in adoration and trust, experience his great delight in us, process our pain, and become more like him.

Jesus, I feel like my Guild 12-String guitar—in need of tuning. 1st tune my heart to yours—to the key of grace. Or I’ll only hear noise and make noise. Then tune my heart to those around me—to their beauty and needs. I’m not the Tuner, you are. Keep my heart in “pitch” with yours, Jesus.
