Yes! School gardens are such a rich learning tool for our students to engage in!

Outdoor/environmental learning can be found everywhere, you just need to watch for nature’s cues!

Many great writers have been inspired by sitting and observing the beauty of nature. Taking your students outdoors to introduce different writing concepts can spark wonderful, imaginative pieces of learning.

There are so many learnings and teaching by planting a garden. I love this idea of planting a medicine walk garden and being able to visibly bring together Indigenous way of knowing and being.
