@kainazamaria This. I went once for midnight club and it was the oddest thing to see people not just drinking, but encouraging each other to be drunk. As the hours waned it got creepy. I got out as soon as my reviews were done. Sad that things haven’t changed, lessons haven’t been learned.

It’s crazy to me that the organizers of the Eddie Adams Workshop still facilitate an evening where a bunch of older photographers, art directors, and editors get drunk with early-career “students” hoping for work. In the fucking boondocks of upstate NY. What could go wrong?

This is beyond worrisome. There is no mechanism beyond the whisper network to safeguard against being violated or bullied when it comes to these types of photo gatherings.
