I gave my workshop in Buenos Aires on “how to find your dream job in Web3.” I was surprised how many people came so I talked to many of them afterwards to find out why. Here’s what they said: “I came to the conference to find out whether there’s a place for me in web3 as a project manager.” “I’m a web2 dev trying to get into blockchain.” “Blockchain seems so tech heavy - I’m a creative person and want to know what kind of opportunities exist in web3 outside of pure tech.” What this tells me is that we are in an echo chamber of tech babble even in 2025. Attracting the same types of people - mainly devs and counter culturists. So the lack of diversity is a symptom of poor communication. We’ve said for YEARS now that we need better UX, but we are still lagging. Survival of our industry requires us to do better. Better comms, better UX, more open minds. I’m going to expand my workshop so it can reach more people. I’m doing my bit to widen the circle. I’ll be sharing this first version of the workshop soon once it’s cleaned up.
