Google Autocomplete shows what people are actually searching for. It’s useful for long-tail keywords, content ideas, and trending topics. The challenge is collecting it at scale. SerpApi gives you real-time autocomplete data in structured JSON. Test it yourself: serpapi.com/playground?eng… Docs: serpapi.com/google-autocom…

MEET THE TEAM! Meet Serhat Aslan, our new Outbound Sales Engineer! Originally from Istanbul, where he spent more than 20 years building both his career and life, Serhat recently relocated to Edremit, a peaceful town near the Kaz Mountains, trading the city’s relentless rhythm for a more grounded pace with his family. He joins the team as an Outbound Sales Engineer, bringing a background that sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and finance. Serhat holds an MS in Finance from George Washington University and a BA from Middle East Technical University. Over the past 15+ years, he worked across banking, finance, and consultancy, followed by 5+ years leading marketing and sales initiatives. Throughout his career, he has consistently operated where revenue meets strategy, building teams, designing systems, modeling growth scenarios, and turning complex numbers into clear direction. While he appreciates technology deeply, his strengths lie less in coding and more in structuring ideas, reporting insights, and creating scalable revenue engines. What has always driven him is not a fixed career title, but the challenge of making things better than they were yesterday. He enjoys improving processes, strengthening teams, and building frameworks that create sustainable growth. He was drawn to the company because of its strong growth trajectory, the room for continuous self-development, the international and collaborative environment, and the culture of transparency. The opportunity to contribute to something expanding organically while learning alongside a global team felt like the right next chapter. Outside of work, Serhat is a proud husband and father to a daughter. He has a long-standing passion for music and even DJ’ed in the past, though these days his performances are reserved for family gatherings. An interesting fact about him is that he once wrote two different sit-com scenarios that nearly made it to production.

@smurfpopsicle @browser_use This is awesome. Browser use uses playwright btw. Are you scraping flight radar? You can also use serpapi mcp to talk to google flights. Much much faster!

this agent: - extracts official DXB departures - filters Scheduled/On Time only - excludes GCC destinations & stopovers - can run concurrent browser booking sessions on multiple airlines - needs approval for payment built with @browser_use (thank god i dont have to use playwright lmao) if @soupsranjan is up for it, maybe we make this public? huge shoutout to my goat opus 4.6 💯💯

If there was a need for an Agentic commerce solution that serves a real need, that is NOW during this terrible war in GCC. We have probably hundreds of thousands of people looking to evacuate on commercial flights I spent the last 48 hours quite literally just clicking and booking as many flights as I possibly could. Only to see ALL of them get canceled The situation is very fluid. Airspace and runways in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Riyadh etc open and close based on imminent threats Here's the cheat sheet I used to at least get as many bookings as possible Why isn't anyone vibe coding this right now? If I wasn't busy evacuating, that's what I would be coding to help myself and the hundreds of thousands of stranded travelers The cheat sheet: 1. Look for flights departing from an airport, say Dubai at flightradar24.com 2. Only look for flights with a future status of Scheduled or Estimated. Ignore the ones that are already Canceled 3. Be open to destinations worldwide. Only select destinations that are outside the GCC region. If there are multi hop flights, ignore them if the hop is via a GCC airport 4. Go to the website of the Airline which shows status of Scheduled/Estimated. Enter the Destination city and travel date along with passenger details. 5. Search for flight availability 6. If the flight is available, ask for credit card details from the consumer and purchase it If anyone is willing to vibe code this right now, please reach out. I have other ideas to make this more robust And I promise to be the first beta tester and I will personally angel invest in your idea if you can help me get a ticket And I promise you, your TAM right now is immense Agents were meant to remove exactly this kind of manual rigmarole After 48 hours of manually doing this, I got tired. And exhausted because still ALL my flights got cancelled. Then I recruited a tiger team of 10 people at my company @sardine to follow the same script. So I could have more options available while I caught my first sleep in 2 days And they quickly found me another 15+ flight options Fingers crossed one of them works out But doing this manually is a waste of valuable and strategic thinking time. In a war, human mind needs to be alert and focused on survival. So who is up for vibe coding this?

Give me 2 mins, and I'll teach you how OSI model works: OSI model is a 7-layer conceptual framework. It represents how data moves through a network. It helps engineers understand, design & debug how systems communicate over networks. —— 7 Application Layer • Handles how apps like browsers or email clients send & receive data over the network. • Uses protocols such as HTTP & SMTP to deliver data in a format that apps can show to the user. —— 6 Presentation Layer • Prepares data for the application layer by making it readable & efficient. • Translates, encrypts, and compresses data so systems can communicate securely & quickly. —— 5 Session Layer • Controls the start + end of communication between systems starts & ends. • Keeps the session open for data transfer, adds checkpoints to resume after interruptions, closes it to save resources. —— 4 Transport Layer • Handles reliable data delivery between systems. • Breaks data into segments, controls speed and errors, and reassembles using protocols like TCP and UDP. —— 3 Network Layer • Moves data between different networks by breaking it into packets and reassembling them at the destination. • Finds the best route for data to travel using protocols like IP, ICMP, and IPsec. —— 2 Data Link Layer • Moves data between devices on the same network. • Packages bits into frames and uses MAC addresses to deliver them to the right local device. —— 1 Physical Layer • Handles the actual hardware that moves data, like cables, switches, and signals. • Converts data into bits and ensures both devices agree on how those signals are sent and read. —— OSI model ensures data moves in a clear, structured, and reliable way. Here's an acronym to remember the OSI model: ✓ Please Do Not Throw Sausage Pizza Away. What else would you add? —— 👋 PS - Want public web data without scraper headaches? SerpApi turns search results into predictable JSON with built-in scale, location options, and protection from blocks. That’s why software engineers use it to ship: • AI applications • Product research • Price tracking • SEO insights All without maintaining scrapers or infrastructure. Try SerpApi for FREE: → serpapi.com/?utm_source=th… (I'd like to thank @serpapi for partnering on this post.) ——— 💾 Save this for later & RT to help others understand the OSI model. 👤 Follow @systemdesignone + turn on notifications.

MEET THE TEAM! Meet Igor Galeta, our new Senior Fullstack Engineer! Igor Galeta is a software engineer based in Kyiv, Ukraine, where he lives with his family and continues to grow professionally despite challenging times. His journey into tech began at school, when he became deeply fascinated by programming and enrolled in coding courses, genuinely excited by every new concept he learned. That early enthusiasm quickly grew into a long-term passion. By his third year at university, he was already working in commercial development, turning curiosity into a full-time career.
Over the years, Igor has built strong expertise in backend and full-stack development, working extensively with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Node, TypeScript, React, Vue.js, and Python. He enjoys designing clean architectures, building scalable systems, and solving complex problems with elegant, maintainable code. For Igor, programming is not just about making things work - it’s like a hobby.
Before joining SerpApi, Igor co-founded a digital agency, helping businesses transform ideas into real, working products. What impressed him most about SerpApi was the strength of its technical team and the company’s async-first philosophy - a culture built on ownership, trust, and well-structured internal processes that empower engineers to do deep, focused work.

For Igor, joining SerpApi represents a new chapter of growth, collaboration with strong engineers, and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality data infrastructure used by businesses worldwide.
Outside of tech, Igor is a husband and father of two daughters. He and his wife have known each other since school, and her support has been a constant source of strength throughout his journey. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, and starting each morning with a run to get energized for the day #meettheteam #serpapi #engineering #seniorengineer
