The snow falls black here. Not literally, of course. Though after enough nights staring into Discord light at 3 AM, watching another twelve-hour argument over screenshots from six months ago, you start to believe the ash is real. It settles into your lungs. Into your soul. Morale in the Whickcord faction remains unstable. Yesterday Command announced the formal alliance with the Destiny faction. I watched grown men in anime avatars cheer in voice chat like reinforcements had arrived at Bastogne. Others simply sat in silence. One moderator wept openly before muting himself for the evening. I do not celebrate. I have seen what the Destiny battalions bring with them. Endless folders. Hyperlinked dossiers. Blue-haired propagandists marching in lockstep through quote tweets and Reddit threads. Wherever they tread, the earth itself becomes discourse. And yet… If it means the end of JSTLK and the Snarker insurgency, then perhaps this unholy alliance is necessary. God forgive us.
