Attention Families! We have been informed of a water main break in the community of Red Rock, causing a disruption to the water supply. As a result, Nipigon-Red Rock District High School will be closed today, Friday, February 21, 2025. We apologize for this inconvenience.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have advised that the emergency situation on Drummond Street in Schreiber has been resolved. As a result, Schreiber Public School will reopen as planned on Monday, November 25. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday.

Important Notice - The Schreiber Public School is closed for November 22, 2024, as the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently managing a situation in the area of Schreiber. As a precaution we have closed the Schreiber Public School for the remainder of the day.

UPDATE: Wednesday, September 4 - 2:30 p.m. The lockdown at George O’Neill Public School has been lifted. Classes will continue as normal until dismissal time. At this time, Nipigon-Red Rock District High School remains in lockdown. We will continue to communicate with families.
