@MarathonDevTeam I think most will agree not punishing for accidental situations but someone posting content of purposefully abusing it I think warrants some sort of action for 2 reasons 1 - using it to gain advantage over other players and 2 - showing people and encouraging others to do the same

Over the weekend, a player posted a video of them taking advantage of a map issue and going out of bounds to gain access into the Compiler room to ambush a team after they finished completing the encounter. First off, we will have this issue fixed before Cryo Archive becomes available again. In the past, we have not taken action against players going out of bounds, but due to this case heavily affecting other players negatively, we'll be reviewing our policies and sharing more details soon. While we don't want to punish players for bugs that they run into by accident, we will communicate more clearly the line that players should not cross when it comes to using these sorts of bugs that could be griefing others. We will be reaching out to the affected players to grant them compensation for having their successful run interrupted by this issue.

Hot Pursuit is unironically the best solo game mode we’ve had in a while. Resurgence helps with the game mode feeling slow, vehicle buffs, exotic guns are fire, and continuous final zones. If you’re a fellow solo grinder and haven’t tried it, I highly suggest giving it a try. Exotic VS Recon Sniper 🔥🔥🔥

The ergonomics of it are great but yea just something weird always messing up with it. I had to switch to another controller mid tourney back in Urzikstan bc my back buttons would not work in the gulag (yes only the gulag when I flew back in they would work lol) and my profile would switch off and wouldn’t fix unless I reset my pc. Just a pain in the ass

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am using a Scuf Envision Pro and my controller will randomly reload in the middle of an engagement. This happen a few times a day without me pressing the reload button.

This take makes zero sense, If I want to sweat my ass off ill play ranked. Sbmm in an extraction shooter makes legit 0 sense. I legit have to wait like 5 min to que a perimeter game just to get lobbies across the planet. I'm all for sweaty games but not everywhere I que🙃

There’s nuance to it man. The few posts I’ve seen from notable streamers discussing it is that they are literally playing against the same players over and over and it makes the game predictable with no variety. They explicitly state they don’t mind sweating but that playing the same ppl over and over on top of long queue times takes the fun and unpredictability out of the game. The low player base and new sponsored dire marsh playlist probably contributed to the issue.

At the end of the day, these players don't like playing against other "good" players. Its more of the same stuff you hear about in COD. Everyone bitches about SBMM because everyone hates playing against equally skilled players, they'd rather beat up the guy that plays 1 hour a week instead. Its more of the same typical gaming atmosphere whining.

Hope you do give it a try. Marathon is an anomaly to me with how much undeserved hate it gets. Prob the most fun I’ve had gaming in years. It does have legitimate issues. It’s a bit confusing for new players to get into so maybe that’s the problem. And the art style is up for opinion. But yea the gunplay and progression in that game is amazing.

@ShadedStep I will have to try them. Personally don’t think I’ll enjoy but always open. Arc was most fun I’ve had yet on extraction, marathon looked bad to me but see you and Iron grinding it a good amount. Will have to try

I’ve said this about extractions—- and maybe I am just completely wrong—- What makes the game type great is the same thing that causes it to burn. You either are so good you get all the gear then it’s boring, or you aren’t good enough and keep losing a bunch of good stuff. It is why I inherently cannot get into extraction shooters. Having a huge raid and getting extraction camped is the most un-fun thing IMO. This isn’t the opinion of all, but I’ve said this since I tried Tarkov.
