If you are using AI avatars in your ad creatives in the US, you're going to want to pay attention👇 As Of December 11th, 2025: Legislation S.8420-A/A.8887-B Requires Individuals Who Produce or Create Advertisements To Disclose if AI-Generated Synthetic Performers are Used The New York State Governor signed this first-in-the-nation legislation to protect consumers and boost AI transparency. It requires persons who produce or create an advertisement to identify if it includes AI generated synthetic performers. New York’s General Business Law to require that any commercial ad featuring a synthetic performer must include a conspicuous notice that the performer is synthetic, with civil penalties for non-compliance ($1,000 for a first violation and $5,000 for subsequent violations) I don't use AI creators in any of my ads so not an issue for me 😁 So what does this mean for you? In the short term, you can exclude NY from your campaigns featuring AI creators. Or a more sustainable long-term solution: strongly consider becoming compliant by adding disclaimers as I expect many states to follow suit.

Yes. We found hundreds of fraud schemes. This is one of many. There was massive fraud in every government program, especially Federal funds sent as block grants to the states.
