Watching your life destroyed bit by bit — your own body, your children, growing thinner, faces paler, trembling in hunger and fear, even in sleep: Will I burn alive? When will I die? This has ALREADY done irreparable harm to those still alive.

I’ve seen the silhouettes of so many people—so many children—burning alive, that I can’t look at fire anymore without feeling sick to my stomach. WE MUST STOP THIS MASSACRE. May the Palestinians forgive us.

The people of Gaza are the last heroes. No water. No food. No roof. No painkillers. No family left whole. No community untouched. Still, they care for each other. Israel—backed by a world doing far too little—is not just killing people. It’s killing what’s left of Humanity.
