⭐ 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗬 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗙𝗖 ⭐ We’re incredibly proud to announce that Sheppey United Youth F.C has now achieved 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟯 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🎉⚽ This isn’t something that happens overnight. It’s the result of a huge amount of work from volunteers behind the scenes and reflects our commitment to creating opportunities for everyone to play football. At the beginning of the 2025/26 season, we moved from 1 Star to 2 Star Accreditation after some fantastic work from Penny Woods, our previous Disability & Inclusion Officer, who helped establish our Saturday PAN Disability sessions. Alongside this, working with Adam Johnson, our Head of Girls Football, we introduced open girls training which led to the launch of four all-girls teams for the 2025/26 season — U10 Girls, two U12 Girls teams and U14 Girls — and saw us accepted into the KGLFL. 👏 That was a huge step forward for our club… but we didn’t stop there. Throughout this season we’ve continued working hard behind the scenes and we’re excited to share that we’ll soon be reintroducing open girls training sessions to support girls outside of the age groups we currently cater for and continue building opportunities locally. Achieving 3 Star Accreditation means a club provides a complete football pathway across boys, girls and disability football — something only a small number of grassroots clubs reach. It recognises clubs that create inclusive opportunities and sustainable football environments for players of all backgrounds and abilities. This badge isn’t just recognition of where we are today — it’s recognition of where we’re heading. More opportunities. More pathways. More football for our community ❤️🤍 A massive thank you to everyone involved — youth committee members that includes Gary Seamark, Ross Wiles, Lucy Thomsett, Kev Long, Luke Crouch, Azza Gray & Nick Thompson, volunteers, coaches, parents and players. This achievement belongs to all of you.

𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗟𝗔𝗪𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 Sheppey United are delighted to announce the signature of defender Harry Lawrence, who joins the club from VCD Athletic. Equally comfortable operating at centre-half or right-back, Lawrence progressed through the youth system at Erith Town before enjoying a highly successful spell with VCD Athletic. Notably, he captained the "Vickers" during their impressive promotion campaign from Step 5 to Step 4. Following a brief stint late last year at Margate FC, where he made nine appearances, he returned to VCD Athletic - scoring against the Ites in March this year, before ultimately making the switch to the Sharrocks Insurance Stadium at Holm Park. Manager George Batten was thrilled to welcome his new recruit to the squad, stating, "Delighted to get Harry signed. With his ability to play at fullback or centre-half, it gives Ian and I that flexibility we are going to need through a long season. "Having captained VCD Athletic to promotion just over a year ago, Harry also brings a voice and leadership qualities to our new-look squad."

Being a lover of Friday night Football, this Invitational Charity Cup Final match at @SheppeyUFC between @FElmstead and @SCThamesmeadFC fitted the bill, with the Kent-based side, managed by @brehnchidley, were declared this year's deserved winners with a 3-1 victory.

It was great to welcome Kevin McKenna to the Sharrocks Insurance Stadium, Holm Park, today to meet co-owner Emma Batten, Vice Chairman Lee Allen and Club Treasurer Kevin Long. The team got to showcase our fantastic facilities, talk about our football offering across youth, pan- disability, ladies, vets, walking football and of course the 1st team. Kevin took great interest in our plans and vision for the future of the club, as we continue to make this local community club something our Island can be proud of.
