still operating under the @BitRobotNetwork’s Foundation umbrella, there’s a governance body called the BitRobot Senate. the senate’s primary job is to ensure network emissions flow toward the robotic subnets creating the highest measurable value. it’s made up of nominated members from the crypto space and the Embodied AI research community. these are people who understand decentralized systems and robotics. their role is to decide how value gets rewarded. they control the economic weights attached to network measurements; the metrics used to evaluate the outputs generated by each subnet. those weights directly influence how emissions are distributed. higher contribution, stronger weight. weaker contribution, lower weight. - at fixed intervals called “Voting Epochs”, the senate reviews the network and makes decisions. (an epoch here just means a fixed time period). ‣‣ during each Voting Epoch: • they vote on whether new robotic subnets should start receiving emissions. • they vote on how much weight each existing subnet should have, based on its recent performance. so essentially, a voting epoch is a scheduled review period where they decide which subnets qualify for rewards and how much each one earns based on performance. the Foundation keeps the system operational. the Senate keeps incentives aligned with value.
