تستهدف جائزة الشارقة للمسؤولية المجتمعية المنشآت من القطاعين العام والخاص في إمارة الشارقة التي خطت ووضعت منظومة عمل تحاكي أهم المحاور الأساسية في مجال المسؤولية المجتمعية مثل المجتمع، والبيئة، ومكان العمل، وأصحاب القطاعات. ويشترط على المنشآت المهتمة بالمشاركة في هذه الجائزة أن تسعى إلى تحسين "أداء المسؤولية المجتمعية المؤسسية" واعتبارها فرصة للترويج عن نشاطاتهم وتعزيز سمعتهم وكفاءتهم وحجم إنتاجهم ونجاحهم كقادة في تحقيق الإستدامة والإحتفال بالإسهامات المهمة التي تؤديها ممارسات المسؤولية المجتمعية لاقتصادنا المجتمعي والبيئة الإنسانية. The Sharjah CSR Award, restricted to Sharjah, recognizes organizations in both sectors, “Public & Private”, who adopted a systematic work plan focusing on major and fundamental CSR aspects as community, environment, workplace, and people of interest (stakeholders, investors, customers, suppliers). هي جائزة مخصصة للمنشآت الكبيرة عدد موظفين 250 فما فوق والمنشآت الصغيرة (عدد موظفين 9 - 49) والمتوسطة عدد موظفين 50 - 249. يتم ترشيح الفائزين بها من كل دولة من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي عن طريق رئيس وأعضاء مجلس الأمناء. تستهدف الجائزة تفعيل دور القطاع الخاص في مسيرة التكامل الاقتصادي على مستوى دول المجلس وتعزيز اندماجه في الاقتصاد العالمي وتهيئة المناخ الاستثماري وتعزيز قدراته التنافسية وتمكينه من الاستفادة من قيم الجودة والريادة والابتكار. يعتمد الترشيح في هذه الجائزة على حصول الشركة على المراتب الأولى في مجلة فوربز العالمية. The Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award is for large organizations (No. of employees 250 and above) and Small (No. of employees 9 –49) and Medium (No. of employees 50 –249) organizations established in any of the GCC Countries (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and UAE).
