On Tuesday, New Yorkers delivered a mandate for a Mayor who puts working people first and makes this city affordable for all.

It is harder than ever to believe in our democracy. It has been attacked by billionaires and hollowed out by its failure to respond to working peoples’ struggles. But on this campaign, we dreamed of a new day. And we have won it together.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how beautifully these 2 have modeled Jewish-Muslim solidarity in the service of a politics of inclusion for all.
