Just wanted to make a statement about what happened on stream, please Rt or share I don’t want misinformation circulating I attacked with Fizz, triggered shovel and opted to play Rhasa for 3 as I had 7 in trash including itself I placed the Rhasa in base and paid 3 + 1 purple They inform me that Rhasa leaves the trash and doesn’t include himself, so I have to pay 4 I take back the Rhasa, repeat the steps of play, pay 4 and put it on the bf as it changes the situation The judge informed me that I would be forced to play it in base as I previously chosed that zone I appealed the ruling and asked for a confirmation, asking for a rewind to the previous step Head judge decided that the rewind would take us between me chosing the area and paying the cost I had to play the rhasa for 4 in base and received my first warning for incorrectly paying the cost Appealed that decison, it standed and It lead to me losing the match

Riftbound Time Rules Update China will be trialling a new round timer in their first regional open of 2026 (January 17th-18th) after finding that the proportion of matches completed within 50 minutes was low. They also say that the new set of rules (see full message below) will be uniformly implemented in Riftbound tournaments globally, so we should expect to see these changes at the Bologna and Las Vegas Regional Qualifiers in February. Old: 50 minutes + 5 turns New: 60 minutes + 3 turns - In the overtime period, a player must lead by 2 points to be declared the winner of the match. - In the overtime period, if a player's lead is less than or equal to 1 point, the match will be declared a draw.
