The Future is Hybrid
Experiment 2: “Physically” pull back a tiny zombie in my hand like a wind-up toy, then release it to run across a real surface.
Workflow:
Simulon - Start/end states + shoot the running sequence (real-time, in-camera).
NanoBanana - create the “in-hand” interaction frame.
KlingAI - generate the hand interaction (holding the zombie, pulling back, placing it down).
DaVinci Resolve - smooth the transition (camera shake/retime/color).

The Future is Hybrid
Experiment 1: “Physically” picking up a virtual 3D figure and placing it in a new location.
Traditional VFX: very difficult.
GenAI-only: no intention, no control.
Hybrid: used @Simulon to lock placement/scale/lighting + start/end frames, then use @GoogleDeepMind Veo to generate the interaction between them.

more @Simulon love; the blender scenes you get from the cloud processing *are the literal scenes used for these high end auto-renders you see form the tool*.
This means you get a full comp setup, incl. denoising, motion blur etc - to tweak as you will.
This tool's insane.

So cool seeing Simulon featured on CGWorld Japan 🙏
We’ve always been huge fans of Japanese creators.
This is a fan-made render I created of @kowyokoyama’s Ma.K. mecha - shot when the JMSDF visited Cape Town. The crew lost their minds when I showed them.
Shooting VFX on location and getting a photo-real render back in minutes really does feel like magic.

Best uber driver ever! Bunch of shots using the @Simulon AR app. All automated - shot / tracked on iphone and cloud rendered without any compositing. Super easy and massive time saver. Did dozens of finished rendered shots in an afternoon.

Mowthership VFX breakdown
@Simulon does a better job of camera tracking and lighting scenes than I have ever done. All I had to do was animate a spinning lawnmower and Simulon 3D tracked the scene, matched the lighting, and rendered it with accurate motion blur in about 10min!
