A moment for the ages at Lasell Field. Surrounded by generations of Rams players, coaches, and a packed crowd, Northbridge came together to honor a true icon of the game. After 50 years on the sidelines, Coach LaChapelle and Coach Falconer (25 years) shared an emotional moment at midfield, one final chapter in a legacy that shaped this program, this town, and countless young athletes.

The Northbridge (9-2) and Uxbridge (7-3) football teams meet in a Turkey Day tussle tomorrow. For longtime Rams coach Ken LaChapelle, it is his final game on the sideline — which he will share with grandson and QB Joel LaChapelle and son and assistant coach Jess LaChapelle.

I'll have LIVE coverage later of a Division 7 state semifinal between No. 1 Cohasset (8-2) and No. 4 Northbridge (9-1) for @tgsports. In the 50th and final season of Ken LaChapelle serving as head coach, the Rams are looking to make their first Super Bowl appearance in 10 years.
