Not buying Gold - Ok Online classes of School - Ok Work from home - Ok But why are these being made into requests and appeals. Why not simply issue an order to Gold Shops, corporates and schools. Ask them for 50% employees to do WFH, implement odd even and online classes. Why is it not being done straight away? What's the point of asking it from people. They literally have no say in this. Just ask the decision makers.

But I have never seen America so helpless in a conflict situation--unable to win, unable to get out. trump has only himself and netanyahu to blame. But the tragedy is that the whole world is suffering because of this war, because of these two men--particularly India, where the PM is asking the public to cut fuel use, preparing the ground for what's to come.

We farmers are selling potatoes at just ₹4 per kg, yet the government wants us to shift to organic farming? Does Mr. PM even understand how farming works on the ground? Without chemical fertilizers, large-scale farming today is nearly impossible. Organic farming gives almost 3x lower yield, while the production cost itself can go up to ₹15–20 per kg of potatoes and then farmers are forced to sell at ₹4 per kg? So farmers are expected to bear losses from their own pockets while others lecture us about “organic”? Organic farming and organic food are luxuries only the rich can afford right now not the reality for most of India. If this continues, India could seriously face a food crisis in the coming years! ☺️

Visited HDFC Bank and IDFC First Bank to open an SSY account. Had to return empty handed because both the banks were trying to sell their ULIP plan. Told my alignment towards SSY and they started showing cashflow projection. I told them how much is the CAGR to which they conveniently told 8%. I told them to show me 8% on calculator. The guy didn’t know anything how to calculate it. Since I cleared my CFA Level 2, I taught him how to calculate IRR with financial calculator and shown him it’s 6% not even beating inflation. He said there is insurance cover which one can claim after the death, and I told them I am not betting on my death here. SSY gives 8% v/s their plan giving 6%. Both the banks didn’t process my SSY application too.
