🚨🚨Please don’t ignore. Yesterday our volunteers conducted a survey of two neighbourhoods in Khartoum city looking for people who need our help. Sadiq is one of the people we found he’s not disabled he’s starving! They says he’s not had a proper meal in over a month and is now too weak to stand. His children while malnourished were in comparatively better health than he was; basically Sadiq made the decision not eat so his children could. Our work @KhartoumKitchen in Omdurman and Bahri is primarily focused on preventing at risk communities from experiencing famine our work in Khartoum is about helping alleviate the suffering of those who are currently experiencing famine both missions are equally important. Sadiq and his family from today will begin receiving a complete weekly food package; which we hope will begin his recovery.
