"Europe’s SMEs continue to lead the way in digital innovation and skills development. It was a pleasure to recognise the organisations shaping Europe’s digital future,” Ken Finnegan, Chief Strategy Officer, Skillnet Ireland, speaking at the Digital SME Summit 2025. Ken joined more than 500 organisations from across Europe at the Summit and the General Assembly of Digital SME. He presented the Digital Skills Award to this year’s winner, Wonderful Education: Future Education Modena, and acknowledged the expertise of the judging panel: Albena Spasova, Co-Founder, EdTech Bulgaria, and Erlend Andreas Gjære, Co-Founder & CEO, Secure Practice. The Summit featured contributions from European digital leaders and introduced new tools aimed at strengthening digital sovereignty and building trust in European technology.
