
I have been taking the time to attempt to properly educate myself as much as I can on the tragedies happening every day in Gaza, having hard conversations with friends and family, and working to find the right organizations to support and direct you all to. Unfortunately, no amount of self-education feels remotely sufficient to qualify me to have an opinion on violence in the Middle East. I imagine many of you reading this feel the same way. But change historically doesn’t come from self-inflicted moral paralysis. So, I’m going to trust my gut and accept that what I do have is a platform with which I can do some good. My heart breaks for all those who have lost their loved ones in this conflict. I also urge everyone to take a stance against civilian casualties and the displacement of civilians in Gaza and demand a #ceasefire.
