That's assuming NJPW WANT to give away such an important rematch to an audience that isn't theirs. And that's also assuming that AEW would be at all interested in an NJPW vs NJPW match. We barely had any NJPW wrestlers on the card, so I think that's a huge assumption to make.

It’s so funny how weird people are about Tsuji #KnowingHisGirth as IWGP Heavyweight champion. I feel like the way he talks about the title and its prestige is very important. But also, no duh he doesn’t want to put his title on the line against Hook on the undercard.

@JonathanFoye I guess. This is also just basic logic, though. Like, even if you know nothing of the situation, it makes no sense that a wrestler would CHOOSE not to promote himself or make money by appearing on a big event. Or that NJPW would let him say no if they wanted him there.

@JonathanFoye I do like thinking that Tsuji is that powerful, though. He just went 'nah, not doing FD' and a thousand people refused to show up to the G1 show out of spite. Amazing.
