We were proud to contribute to the event by engaging with the participants, sharing industry insights, and encouraging their innovative thinking. From showcasing their inventive projects to collaborating with tech experts, the students demonstrated a level of ingenuity that makes us excited for the future of Rwanda and Africa's tech landscape. Empowering Women, Transforming Transportation! Today, we celebrated the graduation of 25 incredible female drivers from the Tinyuka Taxi Moto 2nd cohort. These ambitious and talented drivers are ready to make their mark in Rwanda's taxi E-moto sector! Recognising the disparity of female representation in Rwanda’s commercial motorcycle sector, we are committed to training women to become Boda Boda drivers. We help them to get their driving license and registration, as well as subsidising an Ampersand bike to get them on the road and help them to start their business. A special thanks to our partners @giz_rwanda and @UNHABITAT for helping us make this possible. Together, we're driving change and creating opportunities for women in the taxi E-moto industry.
