ℹ️ The youth, who constitute the largest demographic group in the @IGADsecretariat region, are playing a crucial role in climate action. Their engagement spans awareness creation, policy advocacy, climate-resilient innovations, climate-smart agriculture, contributions to National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), and overall, the mobilisation of communities towards tangible climate solutions. Recognising this ICPAC and @AGRA_Africa in collaboration with the Office of the @IGADYouthEnvoy , is convening a two-day regional event to launch the IGAD Regional Youth Coalition on Climate and Climate-Resilient Agri-food Systems in Nairobi, Kenya. Ahead of tomorrow's launch, today's technical session focused on the Coalition's framework, governance structure, operational modalities, and an initial work plan, key components for its effective establishment and lasting impact. The initiative brings together young people from #Djibouti, #Ethiopia, #Kenya, #Somalia, #SouthSudan, #Sudan, and #Uganda
