Bhadrak Police organized a cyber awareness program at PM Shri B.M. Bagurai Govt. High School, Bhadrak, to promote safe and responsible use of the internet among students. During the session, officers explained various cyber threats, including phishing, online fraud, fake social media profiles, and cyberbullying. Students were advised not to share personal information online, to use strong and unique passwords, and to remain cautious while browsing or interacting on digital platforms. They were also encouraged to report any suspicious activities to authorities. The interactive session, supported by real-life examples, was informative and engaging, enhancing students’ understanding of digital safety and responsible online behavior.@odisha_police @igerbalasore

Excise Case Detected by Sabarang Police Sabarang PS detected an excise case and seized - 18.580 litres of foreign liquor from the possession of the accused persons. In this connection, Sabarang PS Case No. 124/2026 has been registered U/s-52(a) Odisha Excise Act.Two accused persons have been apprehended and further investigation is underway. Strict action will continue against illegal liquor trade in the area. @igerbalasore @odisha_police

Welcome & Farewell Ceremony – Bhadrak Police A Welcome Ceremony was organized to extend a warm reception to Sri Kashyap Parth Jagdish, IPS on his joining as Additional Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak. Simultaneously a Farewell Ceremony was held to bid a Dieu to Sri Sambit Kumar Majhi, OPS (SB), Addl. SP, IUCAW, Bhadrak, Who is going on transfer to Addl.DCP, Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Senior officers and staff of Bhadrak Police attended the programme and conveyed their best wishes to both officers.

Chandabali PS detected one excise case and seized 47.42 F/L liquor from the accused person. In this connection PS Case No.142/2026 U/s.111 (2) BNS and 52(a) Odisha Excise act has been registered and apprehended 2 accused person.

Tihidi PS conducted a raid on 13.04.2026 and seized a huge quantity of illegal firecrackers. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. Bhadrak Police will continue strict action against illegal storage and sale of firecrackers to ensure public safety.

Tihidi PS successfully detected a contraband Ganja case and seized 16 Kg 336 gram of Ganja, cash of Rs.45,995/- and apprehended 03 accused persons & registered a case vide Tihidi PS Case No-114, Dtd. 12.04.2026, U/S-20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act. @odisha_police @igerbalasore

Bhadrak Rural PS detected one excise case and seized 80 ltrs Aska-40 & 100 ltrs ID liquor from the accused person. In this connection PS Case No.262/2026 U/s.111 (2)(a)/3(5) Bns and 52(a) Odisha Excise act has been registered and apprehended accused person. @odisha_police
