🌍 We’re excited to share that we’ve received the first data from our HyMS demonstrator satellite. Launched earlier this year, HyMS captures detailed internal views of the Earth’s atmosphere, such as temperature, humidity, and precipitation, and enables more than 1,000 sensing channels across key water vapor and temperature bands. Combined with our radio occultation data, this mission helps deliver a more complete picture of atmospheric conditions, supporting better weather forecasting worldwide. We are partnering with @NablaMobility to support more informed airline operational decision-making. Spire’s space- and ground-based aviation data fusion is integrated into their Operational Forecaster platform, a predictive decision-support tool designed for airline operations control centers. The platform uses historical and live aircraft tracking data to analyze arrival, descent, approach, and taxi phases across airports. These insights support the development of ETA and delay prediction models that help operations teams better understand potential disruption risks and how delays may cascade across the wider airline network.
