It took BTS one album and 14 tracks to do what this man needed three albums and 43 tracks to do.
So ARMY does not need to be nervous about success. BTS is fine. More than fine, actually.
BTS has never needed to cheat the system. They make great music, show up for ARMY, break records, mind their business, and then everybody else starts rearranging the furniture because the numbers make them uncomfortable.
The rest of the conversations are just noise.
But ARMY also needs to stop expecting these systems to be fair. They are not fair. They have never been fair. They will never be fair. The rules will always move when certain artists start winning too much.
So when Spotify wants to blur artist totals, album totals, catalog totals, metadata, manual reviews, and whatever other calculator gymnastics they have going on, fine. Keep that same energy for everybody.
And if BTS ever and I mean EVER drops:
RM of BTS
Jin of BTS
SUGA of BTS
j-hope of BTS
Jimin of BTS
V of BTS
Jung Kook of BTS
Plus, a full group album credited to BTS, all at the same time, with the metadata attached to the BTS brand, I don't want to hear a single syllable from anybody.
Not from chart accounts.
Not from the industry.
Not from fandom accountants.
Not from people suddenly discovering “fairness” when BTS benefits from the same system.
Count it the same way for everybody, or be quiet.
BTS did it with one album. Birkin BBL booty needed three.
Stream ARIRANG. 💜

The initial streams review process was completed manually, resulting in streams from two different album tracks being combined. Drake continues to hold the record for most-streamed artist and album in a single day in 2026. We apologize for the error and have implemented updated review procedures to prevent similar issues in the future.

Bruno Mars made a comeback… couldn’t break BTS’s record 😭🔥
Olivia Rodrigo came back… still couldn’t touch BTS’s numbers 💀
Kanye West returned… and STILL couldn’t break the record 😭
Drake came back too… couldn’t even beat the biggest Spotify debut of 2026 held by BTS 😭🔥
2026 is THE year of BTS

Bad Bunny's “DtMF” (16.7M) and BTS' “SWIM” (16.2M) holds the biggest streaming days for songs on Spotify in 2026, despite false reports from the platform.
Do better @Spotify.
